Michelle Geiss is a writer, grassroots organizer, and beekeeper with a love of understanding systems. Her career has focused on economic development, entrepreneurship, and public health. She generates projects and publications as Atlantic Bee Company and launched the AMERICAN BEEKEEPER project in 2026 to gather beekeeper stories from across the country, along with her collaborator, photographer, and husband Andy Cook.
