The Certified Advisor Program is a free training course for accountants and bookkeepers who serve farmers, ranchers, landowners, contractors, and other rural businesses. After completing the short course and exam, you’ll become a Certified Advisor and receive exclusive benefits like a free Ambrook subscription, client discounts, and priority support.

You’ll complete four self-paced modules covering Ambrook’s tagging taxonomy, integrated payments, reporting, and bookkeeping workflows.

Most advisors complete the program in 2–5 hours, depending on their familiarity with Ambrook.

At the end of the course, you’ll take a 20-question test. A passing score is 80% (16/20). You can retake it as many times as needed.

The Certified Advisor Program is free. Advisors receive a free Pro subscription for themselves ($99mo in value). Client pricing ranges from $20-70/month after the 30% advisor discount.

Ambrook is cloud-based with a desktop app and a mobile app (iOS and Android). Your work syncs automatically across devices. You can use Ambrook anywhere.

We do not have a payroll offering, but Ambrook works with any payroll provider your clients use! Data from a pay period can be brought into Ambrook as a journal entry or a detailed bill matched with the expense.

Ambrook does not include full integrated inventory management, but does have a robust set of tools to manage your balance sheet, including the balance of inventory and other asset accounts.

No. Although we initially designed our software for farms and ranches, Ambrook is purpose-built for any asset-heavy, balance-sheet-driven operation. Advisors use Ambrook with their clients in construction, land management, real estate, processing, and other industries where traditional generic accounting tools fall short.
