Jeff Manuel is a writer focusing on agriculture, energy, and history. He is the co-author (with Tom Rogers) of Ethanol: A Hemispheric History for the Future of Biofuels. His previous writing includes Taconite Dreams: The Struggle to Sustain Mining on Minnesota’s Iron Range, 1915-2000 and multiple articles. He lives in the St. Louis area and teaches history at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
