Keyian Vafai is a freelance reporter based in New York City, concentrating in accountability and economics reporting, and documentary film. He is also a board member at the Park Slope Food Cooperative, a member-owned consumer cooperative that places an emphasis on organic, local, and healthful foods at cheap prices. He is an aspiring farmer and his dream is to homestead upstate, but, for now, he is enrolled at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York.
