Round 2 of the New York State Dairy Modernization Grant Program provides $8.5 million to help dairy farmers and agricultural marketing cooperatives modernize their operations. It funds projects that expand on-farm milk storage capacity; improve efficiencies; and invest in milk transfer systems and cooling technologies. Eligible projects include milk storage tanks, milk tankers for transport, milk pipelines, upgraded glycol chillers, and farm milk loading systems.
Eligibility
Dairy farmers and agricultural marketing cooperatives in New York State.
Round 2 exclusion: applicants must not have received funding from the NYS Dairy Modernization Program Round 1.
