Round 2 of the New York State Dairy Modernization Grant Program provides $8.5 million to help dairy farmers and agricultural marketing cooperatives modernize their operations. It funds projects that expand on-farm milk storage capacity; improve efficiencies; and invest in milk transfer systems and cooling technologies. Eligible projects include milk storage tanks, milk tankers for transport, milk pipelines, upgraded glycol chillers, and farm milk loading systems.

Terms
