Lena Beck (she/her) is a writer covering agriculture and food systems, primarily in the Mountain West. She has an MA in environmental science journalism from the University of Montana, and her work has appeared in The Counter, The Guardian, Coastal Review, and more. While a staff writer at Modern Farmer, she won the North American Agricultural Journalists’ 2024 Next Gen Young Writer Award.
