A Mississippi income tax credit for non-industrial private forest landowners worth up to 50% of the cost of approved hardwood and pine reforestation practices. Landowners need a reforestation plan prepared by a Registered Forester, who verifies the work on tax form 80-315, which the landowner submits to the Department of Revenue. Orchards, Christmas trees and ornamental plantings do not qualify.
