The JDA Agriculture Loan Fund was created to offer affordable capital to small agribusinesses looking to complete projects that will expand their capabilities, generate economic growth and create new employment opportunities. Loan amounts are based upon project size and scope, with typical projects ranging from $50,000 to $2 million or more. The fund is offered through the New York State Job Development Authority (JDA), part of Empire State Development, and lending is delivered by participating regional lenders across the state.
Eligibility
Small agribusinesses looking to grow and expand, including: food and livestock growers, value-added processors, food distributors, food aggregators, beverage producers and Food Hub participants.
