The California Department of Conservation's Watershed Coordinator Program funds watershed-coordinator positions for local governments or non-profits to work with local stakeholders and downstream beneficiaries to develop plans and projects that improve watershed health and achieve state and local natural-resources goals.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are local governments or non-profit organizations that host a watershed coordinator. Coordinators are funded through the Forest Health Watershed Coordinator Program (Sierra and coastal regions) and the Sustainable Groundwater Management Watershed Coordinator Program (Central Valley and coastal regions).
