Blue Diamond Orchard Stewardship Incentive Program (OSIP) (OSIP)

Blue Diamond's sustainability incentive for its almond member-growers. Growers document best practices in orchard management, environmental issues, health and safety, and community investment. Double Diamond requires a California Almond Stewardship Platform (CASP) assessment shared with Blue Diamond. Triple Diamond also requires Bee Friendly Farming tier 3. Qualifying growers get an annual OSIP base payment.

• Blue Diamond Growers members (payments go by member payee number)

• Double Diamond: complete and submit the CASP assessment on almondstewardship.org with data sharing to Blue Diamond Growers as handler

• Triple Diamond: CASP plus the third tier of Bee Friendly Farming (third-party certification NOT required)

Annual base payment by tier ($750 Double Diamond / $1,000 Triple Diamond for Crop Year 2025). The payment can be assigned to another payee on the OSIP Base Payment Assignment form. It stacks with the USDA AMP practice reimbursements.

Published amounts: OSIP Base Payment Assignment form (Crop Year 2025): "Double Diamond $750.00" / "Triple Diamond $1,000.00"
