A cost-share grant program administered by the Lois G. Britt Agribusiness Center at the University of Mount Olive and funded by the North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund Commission. Grants of up to $10,000 support new or innovative projects that increase farm profitability across 33 eastern North Carolina counties (Montgomery to Currituck).


Eligibility

Open to farmers and agribusinesses in 33 eastern North Carolina counties (Montgomery to Currituck). Priority is given to applicants who earn at least 50% of their income from the farm and to current or former tobacco farmers and quota holders.
