Emergency Insect Management Grant — Wyoming

The Emergency Insect Management Grant, administered by the Wyoming Department of Agriculture and the Emergency Insect Management Committee under the 2003 Emergency Insect Management Program Act (W.S. 11-5-401 through 11-5-405), provides supplemental funding to manage emergency outbreaks of insect pests and disease-vector insects for the protection of human health and safety, animal health (including livestock and wildlife), agriculture, and natural resources in Wyoming.


Eligibility

State agencies and political subdivisions — including cities, towns, counties, weed and pest districts, and special districts. Institutional program; individual producers are not direct applicants (they are served through eligible districts/entities).

Application Instructions

Submit the Emergency Insect Management Grant packet (available as PDF/Word at agriculture.wy.gov) by the annual deadline, postmarked or emailed by that date. 2026 applications were due March 31, 2026; the program recurs annually under the statute.
