In an effort to support the local food and farm economy, Oryana Community Co-op and Crosshatch Center for Art & Ecology have teamed up to offer to farmers, food producers and other food and ag entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive a zero-interest community microloan.

Scope: This community microloan project aims to help launch and enhance local food or farming ventures within the Michigan counties of Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Misaukee, Otsego, and Wexford.

Farmers and entrepreneurs from the following Michigan counties are eligible:
- Antrim
- Charlevoix
- Cheboygan
- Emmet
- Otsego
- Benzie 
- Grand Traverse
- Kalkaska
- Leelanau
- Manistee
- Missaukee
- Wexford

A payment that must be returned to the provider following specified terms of repayment and interest rate.

- Applicants may request $500 - $10,000 based on evidence of project potential
- Repayment terms negotiable (typical repayment time frame is 12 - 18 months)
