New York Truck Voucher Incentive Program (NYTVIP) – Non-Road Equipment (Agriculture and Construction Equipment) (NYTVIP)

NYTVIP gives point-of-sale vouchers to New York fleets that buy or lease zero-emission vehicles and electric non-road equipment. The Non-Road Equipment track has a dedicated $4.5M budget line for Agriculture and Construction Equipment and pays 35% of base equipment cost (plus 10% in disadvantaged communities). Purchasers must be business entities; the voucher is claimed through a participating dealer.

Fleets (Vehicle/Equipment Purchasers and Operators) across New York State; Individual Purchasers must be a business entity; equipment must be electric non-road equipment purchased/leased through a participating dealer; cannot stack with other NYSERDA grants.

Voucher = 35% of base equipment cost; +10% DAC bonus capped at $100,000 per unit; max $2,000,000 per Purchaser per 12 months; stackable with most non-NYSERDA grants and IRC 45W but total cannot exceed base cost.

Published amounts: All non-road equipment is eligible for vouchers equivalent to 35% of the base price of the equipment on a per-unit basis. Additionally, non-road equipment projects that have depots or primary work locations located within DAC’s are eligible for a 10% DAC Bonus. The DAC bonus will be capped at $100,000 per unit. Budget: Agriculture and Construction Equipment $4,500,000 (of $18,000,000 non-road total). Purchaser cap $2 million per 12-month period.

Apply through a participating NYTVIP Dealer; Award Letters are received through Dealers; incentive calculated upon application submission and receipt of a valid Purchase Order; see Program Implementation Manual.
