NY-Sun (On-site Solar for Businesses incentive)

New York State Energy Research and Development Authority

NY-Sun pays an upfront per-watt incentive, delivered through the installing contractor, for on-site solar at homes, businesses and farms across New York, with regional MW-block rates. NYSERDA's own 'Incentive Programs for New York State Farms' fact sheet lists NY-Sun first among state incentives for farms, and the agriculture industry page points farms to on-site and agrivoltaic solar.

Eligibility

Businesses (including farms) installing on-site rooftop or ground-mounted solar through a NY-Sun participating contractor; must be in a region/sector with open MW-block capacity.
