The North Dakota Department of Agriculture administers the USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP), conducting an annual competitive solicitation to award SCBGP funds to projects that enhance the competitiveness of North Dakota specialty crops — fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, horticulture, and nursery crops (including floriculture).


Eligibility

State and/or local organizations, producer associations, academia, community-based organizations, and other specialty crop stakeholders are eligible. Grant funds will not be awarded for projects that directly benefit a specific commercial product or provide profit to a single organization, institution, or individual.
