The North Dakota Department of Agriculture received federal funding through the Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program to provide hydroponic gardens to a limited number of schools interested in incorporating them into their curriculum as a STEM learning opportunity.

Eligibility is limited to North Dakota schools interested in incorporating a hydroponic garden into their curriculum (provided as STEM learning); a limited number of schools are selected.
