Legacy Landscapes helps ranchers in Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Kansas, Arizona, and Texas improve their grazing lands, strengthen their operations, and access new markets. Participants can receive over $70,000 in potential funding, one-on-one support from a local grazing expert, and custom marketing guidance; all designed to improve the land and your bottom line.
This program is designed to give farmers and ranchers the credit they’re due for their stewardship of grazing lands, while providing them the technical and financial assistance to accomplish their goals. This initiative aims to support livestock producers in record keeping and implementing grazing land improvements that benefit both their operation and the environment.
The program offers funding for a producer to work with a marketing expert in their area to help them develop a comprehensive marketing plan, including opportunities like direct-to-consumer, value-added, regional processing, supply chain programs and other emerging markets. This expert will help with the development and the deployment of the marketing plan with the producer.
