Kentucky Stream and Wetland Restoration Program (FILO)

Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources

  • Existing or potential wetlands may qualify for preservation, enhancement, rehabilitation or establishment

  • Generally both sides of the stream must be available; a minimum of 1,000 feet of stream

  • Project area cannot be mined or developed for coal, oil, gas or other minerals

  • All projects must be permanently protected through sale or conservation easement; no public access is granted
