Eligibility

For producers located within Kansas who grow wheat.

Producers will need to keep accurate management records and need to work in a new crop rotation.

Terms

Producers across the High Plains are asking how to stay competitive raising wheat while improving long-term soil function.

The High Plains Wheat Program provides a framework to do both. Through hands-on technical support and incentive-backed practices, wheat farmers can make the changes they've been thinking about that strengthen productivity and resiliency on their farm now, and in the future.

Cost and payments

Signing up with AgSpire and enrolling in any of our programs is completely free for farmers and ranchers.

Once contract conditions are met and practices have been verified (usually through a verification visit, testing for outcomes, and/or physical verification such as receipts), AgSpire will make payments to producers, which are distributed quarterly.
