Terms

Up to $543,800 for land and improvements (of which up to $250,000 may be for improvements/equipment, and up to $62,500 for equipment only). $100 application fee plus a 1% loan fee. This is a federal tax-exempt "aggie bond" — a separate authority from other state first-time-farmer programs.

Apply through Bank of North Dakota's aggie-bond process, typically in coordination with a local lender.
