The Community, Environment, and Climate Grant Program is the Sacramento–San Joaquin Delta Conservancy's competitive grant program funded by the $29 million SB 867 / Proposition 4 Climate Bond, with competitive cycles beginning in 2026 across three categories: Nature-Based Solutions, Community Enhancement, and Ecosystem Restoration. Its first solicitation, the Rice Incentive Program, awards 2–3 grants to organizations that serve farmers, funding farmer rice-conversion and land-leveling plus technical assistance.
Eligibility
California public agencies, nonprofit organizations, tribal organizations, public utilities, and mutual water companies. Individual farmers cannot apply directly, but benefit indirectly through funded organizations.
