Community Enhancement Grant Program (Proposition 68)

The Community Enhancement Grant Program is a competitive Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy grant funded through Proposition 68 (the 2018 California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection and Outdoor Access for All Act). It funds projects that enhance Delta communities and their economic vitality, with priorities in recreation and tourism, historic and cultural preservation, and environmental education, and a focus on expanding public access to recreational opportunities. The Conservancy is currently no longer accepting proposals for Proposition 68 funding and will update the program page if additional funding becomes available.

Institutional applicants sponsoring qualifying community-enhancement projects in the Delta - public agencies, nonprofit organizations, tribes, and similar entities. Individual farmers do not apply directly.

Competitive grants funded by Proposition 68 (2018) for projects that enhance Delta communities and their economic vitality; priorities include recreation and tourism, historic and cultural preservation, environmental education, and expanded public recreational access. Proposition 68 funding is closed - the Conservancy is no longer accepting proposals but will update the program page if additional funding becomes available.
