Northeast Queer Farmer Wellness Micro Grants
Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners
Closed October 27, 2021
The Northeast Queer Farmer Wellness Microgrant program is funded through the Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network. The Northeast Queer Farmer Wellness Microgrant program defines stress and mental health broadly including the impacts of structural barriers and oppression of white supremacy and heterosexism. This project is run by queer service providers and farmers across the Northeast to support queer and trans farmers.
The Northeast Queer Farmer Wellness Microgrant program believes that queer and trans farmers know best what they need! This money can be used however it may support you, including - but not limited to - therapy, childcare, a massage, rent, compensating you for unpaid organizing work you already do, attending community events, getting your nails done even if they are about to get dirty again, etc.
