New features to make information more readily available in Ambrook.
One of the hardest parts of bookkeeping can be organizing all the information you need to actually get your work done. Whether it’s tracking down a delivery address buried in an email thread or having to find a tab on your internet browser with your bank info on it, little things eventually add up to meaningful time spent. Over the past few weeks our whole team has been working on features to improve this experience.
Wallet Balances
Thanks to a ton of work from Brian, Chris, Jeff, John, and Dan we now display multiple balances for your Ambrook Wallet to give you a more complete picture of your cash flow. Available Balance is the amount of money in your account today after factoring for all payments that have already been initiated but are still in-flight, like a pending transaction. Projected Balance is the amount of money expected to be in your account after factoring for things you expect to happen, like future income or scheduled bill payments.
Your Available Balance will show up when scheduling a bill payment, so you can make decisions about when to send payments based on how much cash you have in your account.
Contact Lists
Ali, John, and Dan have also made it easier than ever to manage your contact list and keep track of important information. This includes address info for multiple points of contact, payment instructions, and internal notes. Your lists can be filtered by customers or vendors, and all the information is integrated into the invoice and bill creation process.
Other wins
General performance improvements from Danny made the experience of opening and closing panels snappier.
Brian’s iOS mobile app upgrade improved loading times throughout the app.
Dylan rolled out Income Statement exports and the ability to more easily manage your balance sheet accounts right from your ledger.
When changing the enterprise that a transaction is tagged to, the currently selected enterprises now appear at the top of the menu so it can be easily unselected.
