Pennsylvania Small Business Advantage Grant
Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection
Closed April 13, 2022
About
The Small Business Advantage Grant provides 50% matching grants, up to a maximum of $5,000 to enable Pennsylvania small businesses to purchase energy efficient or pollution prevention equipment, or adopt waste reduction processes.
Eligibility
Pennsylvania-based businesses with 100 or fewer full-time employees are eligible. Eligible applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis, and must save the small business a minimum of $500 and at least 25% annually in energy consumption or pollution prevention related expenses (Natural Resource Protection projects are exempt).
Terms
Program is open until funds are exhausted.
The grantee will be reimbursed up to 50% of the total eligible project costs. If the project is financed through a lease arrangement which does not end in the grantee owning the equipment outright or for a token purchase amount, the grantee will only be reimbursed for 50% of the amount paid through June 30, 2021.
Payment will be made to the grantee generally within 45 days of receipt of a fully completed and approved PCRR. DEP may decline to pay the final invoice if it is received more than 30 days after project completion date. The grant may be closed and all funds liquidated.
