New York Dairy Promotion Order Research Grant

The DPO Advisory Board has issued a Request for Applications for dairy and research promotion projects, as part of its $15.5 million checkoff fund. The invitation solicits proposals for projects that market, promote and research New York-produced fluid milk and dairy products with the goal of expanding the types of dairy products available and increasing consumer demand for and consumption of New York’s many dairy products.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include non-profit entities, research institutions, and private businesses that are not affiliated with the DPO Advisory Board. Project proposals may not promote a specific brand or trade name.


Terms

Funding decisions are expected to be made during the Dairy Promotion Order (DPO) Advisory Board meeting to be held September 12th-13th, 2023.

Organizations that submit proposals are welcomed to also make an in-person presentation to the DPO Advisory Board during a public meeting. The meeting duration is limited, so time allotted for individual presentations may not exceed one and half hours.
