Tennessee Farmer Relief Fund

If you are a farmer who has experienced a natural disaster and are in need of financial assistance, apply using the link below. Disbursement of funds is needs-based. There is no guarantee that we will be able to respond to all requests. 100% of donations made to the Farmer Relief Fund will be distributed to farmers who apply. 

Regenerative farmers based in Tennessee who have experienced hardship and/ or farm damage from a natural disaster.

No award ceiling, floor, rate, or cost-share percentage is published for this fund. Payouts are discretionary and sized to need: "Disbursement of funds is needs-based. There is no guarantee that we will be able to respond to all requests."

What is published:

• All donated money reaches farmers: "100% of donations made to the Farmer Relief Fund will be distributed to farmers who apply" (elsewhere "100% of proceeds will go to farmers").

• It is a rolling fund, not a grant round: "This rolling fund supports growers after they experience natural disasters that devastate their farm and business."

• No match, no repayment, no cost-share is mentioned — this reads as a straight relief grant, not a loan.

• Scale, for expectation-setting: "Over $27,000 has been DISTRIBUTED to farmers across Tennessee in times of need" since inception. That is a cumulative program total across all recipients, so individual awards are small.

• Trigger: infrastructure damage from extreme weather — the page cites windstorms, fires and tornadoes, with examples of Tennessee farms damaged in a March 2023 wind storm.
