The USDA Delta Regional Food Business Center is dedicated to enhancing the resilience, diversity, and competitiveness of our local food system. Our center is one of twelve regional centers supported by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. In partnership with local regional organizations throughout the food system, we serve the southern states of Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, and East Texas. We will use the Delta Regional Food Business Center’s tools – Coordination, Technical Assistance, and Capacity Building – to build the qualities of a resilient Southern food system: Connectivity, Local Self-organization, Physical Infrastructure, Recruitment, Diversity, Innovation, Climate Smart Integration, and Leader Development.
Eligibility
U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins today announced the termination of the Regional Food Business Centers (RFBC) program. Due to the termination of the Business Builder Center, no awards will be given and all programs will be discontinued.
